Lee Bryant, PE

Civil Engineer

Lee Bryant is the Vice President of Operations at Evans Engineering, Inc., bringing over 25 years of expertise in residential and commercial land planning and design. As a North Carolina Licensed Professional Engineer, Lee has played a pivotal role in shaping communities through innovative and sustainable development solutions.

In addition to his leadership at Evans Engineering, Lee is the owner of Bryant Land Consulting, LLC, where he provides specialized consulting services in land development. He is also an Advisory Committee Member at Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) and is an active member of TREBIC (Triad Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition), advocating for responsible growth and industry advancement.

With a strong commitment to excellence and collaboration, Lee continues to influence the future of land development in North Carolina.

Amanda P. Hodierne

Attorney

Amanda has been part of Isaacson Sheridan’s commercial transactions and land use practice since joining the firm in 2013. And with eight years of prior experience as a city planner (Raleigh and Cary, NC) and as a land use consultant to developers and builders, she is uniquely equipped to counsel clients through all phases of the acquisition, financing, entitlement and development process.

In addition to her land use work, Amanda has assisted clients in numerous business matters including organizational structuring, financing agreements and partnership disputes.

Amanda grew up in Guilford County and enjoys being back in Greensboro’s family-friendly vibe with her two children.

Brian Maas, REM

Environmental Consultant

Mr. Maas is a Vice-President, an Environmental Principal and the Director of Business Development for the Greensboro office of ECS Southeast, LLC (ECS). Mr. Maas helped open the Greensboro office of ECS 28 years ago in March 1996. Mr. Maas has worked in the environmental consulting and engineering services industry for more than 35 years. Mr. Maas handles business development, project scoping, proposal development and technical support for various environmental projects. Mr. Maas also supports our geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and facilities engineering divisions for ECS, as needed.

Scott Werley, PG

Professional Geologist

For over 23 years, Scott Werley has been practicing environmental consulting in North Carolina, and has worked on hundreds of sites throughout the Triad during that time. He is a Principal Geologist at ECS, a licensed Professional Geologist in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia, and is responsible for leading a team of 20 Assessment and Remediation environmental professionals across NC, TN, and KY. Scott separates himself from his peers by participating as a member of the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council’s PFAS team, leads ECS’ internal PFAS team, and has taken it upon himself to obtain various licenses that diversify his skillset. Scott is a devoted family man who was there to support his sister during the 1996 Olympics and is now a diehard supporter of his daughter’s year-round swimming and other various sporting and musical pursuits.

Brad Luckey

Professional Wetlands Scientist

Brad Luckey is a Partner and Project Manager with Pilot Environmental, Inc. He was born and resides in Archdale, North Carolina. Mr. Luckey graduated from N.C. State University with a BS in Soil Science and has a technical background in soils, wetlands, natural resources and land development. Mr. Luckey began his career as an environmental consultant in 2010. His project experience includes conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Stream/Wetland Determinations and Permitting, Soil Assessments for suitability of on-site waste systems and seasonal high water table determinations, Environmental Evaluations for N.C. DOT Borrow/Waste Sites including design of sediment and erosion control plans, NEPA Assessments (including categorical exclusions and Environmental Assessments) and investigations associated with HUD funding. Mr. Luckey is certified as a N.C. Licensed Soil Scientist In-Training, Professional Wetland Scientist In-Training and as a Level III Designer of Sediment and Erosion Control Plans for N.C. DOT. Mr. Luckey is a member of the Soil Science Society of NC, Society of Wetland Scientists and the N.C. Association of Environmental Professionals.

Jim Beeson

Soil Scientist

Jim received his Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science from NC State University.  He also worked as a research technician in the Soils Science Department and still guest lectures for the University.  As a licensed Soil Scientist, Jim has spent a decades-long consulting career with experience in soil mapping, wastewater system design and installation, regulatory compliance and lot yield maximization. In 2010, Jim Founded Piedmont Environmental Associates, where he currently serves as a managing principal and project manager.  Piedmont specializes in high intensity soil mapping for land development and is a leader in comprehensive soil and environmental consulting services.

John Davenport

Civil Engineer

John Davenport, Jr., founded DAVENPORT in 2002, and has built the organization into a leading engineering, design, and consulting firm focused on providing transportation and specialty services to clients throughout the Southeast. John has developed a culture at DAVENPORT to do whatever it takes to serve their clients through the principals of walking by faith and trust. Jeff is Executive Vice President of First Continental.  Before joining First Continental in 2017, he served as Vice President and Builder Finance Relationship Manager at Yadkin Bank. Prior to his time at Yadkin, Jeff served as Credit Analyst, Loan Production Associate and Relationship Manager at RBC Builder Finance. Jeff has 20 years of experience in loan production, underwriting and portfolio management, all specialized in the homebuilder finance industry.  He received his BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
